Enjoy this beautiful temporary exhibit of photographs that show the “soulful lifestyle” of the American Cowboy. Florida Cowboys by Naples photographer Michelle Tricca expresses the rugged beauty of rural Florida and the people that continue to work the land.

“Similar to the artist life, a cowboy's life goes beyond a career, it is a soulful lifestyle that chooses you,” says Tricca. “I'm interested in enduring subcultures based in maintaining historic roots.”

As part of the Arts and Agriculture program, Tricca’s work is being brought to communities where agriculture is the dominant force, in business, land, and culture. The program includes art exhibits, unique art experiences, promotion of events in rural counties, and enhancing the connections between artists and their communities.

The Florida Cowboys exhibit will be at the museum through April 29th,and is part of the Arts and Agriculture initiative. It is supported by the Florida Cultural Alliance, the State of Florida, Department of State and other sponsors.
